After doing numerous offroad trips within South Africa and also into parts of Southern Africa, Michael van Schalkwyk decided in 2022 that it was time that he put his expertise in the steel and engineering sector and his practical experience from the bush into practise, and successfully designed and built his first offroad trailer. This new offroad trailer the Nyathi, can sleep up to 4 campers, with the optional pop up roof tent and includes some unique features for the offroad camper to experience the bush in comfort. Michael has been operating in the steel and engineering sector since 1976 and with the vast skills that he has attained over the years, he is willing to design and manufacture new camper models according to a client’s unique specifications, besides the existing models that are available for order. Additional products such as awnings and clam shell aluminium pop up tents to individual specifications, are also available to clients as required.
